The patient is a woman in her 30’s who had bilateral mastectomies with delayed expander placement approximately 6 weeks after. Several months later, she went on to expander removal with exchange for a permanent silicone implant and nipple areolar reconstruction. Excellent preservation of the skin envelope by the general surgeon at mastectomy makes her overall aesthetic improvement possible at reconstruction.
