Case of the Month – August 2013 – Revision Breast Augmentation
The patient is a woman in her 60’s who had silicone implants placed above the pectoralis muscle decades earlier. Â She had distortion secondary to contracture. Â The patient had capsulectomy (removal of the calcified shell around the implant) and placement of a new implant in the below muscle plane.
