The first patient is a woman with an “A” cup breast and thin post mastectomy coverage ,  who presents for delayed reconstruction.  The form stable implant allows for increased size and minimal to no rippling.  Note how the implant shows a tapered upper pole look versus the sharp drop off of the expander.

The second patient is a woman whohad radiation therapy to the right side and bilateral mastectomies. Â She required bilateral latissimus flaps for improved coverage and symmetry. Â The right side is slightly over expanded to counter radiation contraction and the form stable implant fills the upper pole nicely and resists contracture.
