The patient had a limited incision mastopexy to improve her shape and reduce her droop.  She then presented five years later with breast volume loss and desired increased size and superior fullness with silicone gel implant augmentation.

The patient is a woman who had silicone gel implants placed greater than 20 years ago.  She developed capsular contractures which distorted her breasts and were uncomfortable.  She had capsulectomy (removal of the scar shell, or capsule) and replacement of the implants.

The patient is a woman in her 60’s who had silicone implants placed above the pectoralis muscle decades earlier.  She had distortion secondary to contracture.  The patient had capsulectomy (removal of the calcified shell around the implant) and placement of a new implant in the below muscle plane.
