After the first of the year, our office regularly has a large number of calls about various cosmetic procedures ranging from breast augmentation to abdominoplasty to rhinoplasty. Perhaps patients think about surgery because they associate the New Year with change and improvement. Or maybe, it is because the rush of the Holidays is over and they can spare some time to care for themselves. Usually, the first thoughts about having surgery occur months before any action is taken. There may be internet research and talk with friends, but there is no substitute for an in person consult with a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon. If surgery has been on your wish list and has now moved to potentially on your 2016 calendar, this is the time to come in for a visit. You can learn your options, risks, and costs in friendly environment and then make an informed decision if Plastic Surgery is for you.
Best wishes for a happy and healthy New Year from Dr. Wigod and Staff.
