Our Office Manager, Kaye, joined us in September of 2002. I had only been out of training for one year and was just starting my own solo practice. My poor wife had volunteered ( had no choice, really ), to work in the office. As a nurse, however, she was a clinician like me and had little business experience. Fortunately, Kaye had just escaped from Eastern Idaho where she had long career in Medical Office management and collections. She liked the idea of a project, I guess, because she signed on to be the adult in the office. Since then, she has seen us through personal and practice changes with a steady hand and a knowing smile on her face. She was universally loved and respected by staff and patients alike. After over 12 years, her expertise and presence will be missed, but she has earned her retirement. Thank you Kaye, from me and everyone at Wigod Plastic Surgery and best wishes for a happy future. Her replacement, Lea, has learned much from Kaye in the past 3 months. She is ready to take over and we look forward to getting to know her as well.
