Case of the Month – July 2014 – Breast Reduction

The patient is a woman who had back, neck, and shoulder pain secondary to her large breasts.  She had bilateral breast reduction under insurance with decreased symptoms as well as improved aesthetics.  Insurance requirements are significant and designed by the insurer to ensure operations are not for cosmetic improvement only.
