Case of the Month – August 2014 – Immediate Breast Reconstruction
The patient is a woman who had indications for bilateral mastectomies. She desired immediate reconstruction with smaller breasts, so nipple sparing was not optimal. The Allergan 410 (gummi bear) implant with a tapered low height gives her the natural look she was looking for. Scars are early and expected to improve.
