As a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon, Dr. Wigod is qualified to provide the gold standard in surgical rejuvenation techniques. Not everyone, however, needs, wants, or can afford these most aggressive therapies. Accordingly, the Mark D. Wigod, M.D., P.A. Medi-Spa is pleased to offer Non-Surgical Rejuvenation options. Skin care, laser treatments and product injections are commonly offered elsewhere. With 8 years of post medical school surgery residency and fellowship training, Dr. Wigod has the background to critically evaluate non-surgical treatments versus surgery. With all these rejuvenation tools available, Dr. Wigod can offer each patient an individualized approach for his or her problem.

Dr. Wigod's nurse, Misty DeVall, RN has been trained by Dr. Wigod and Allergan Aesthetics to assess aesthetic problems and provide effective therapy. As both a Registered Nurse, Licensed Medical Esthetician, and Accredited Laser operator, Misty is especially well trained to improve your skin's appearance. Skin Care Services

Luxury Facials- Relax and rejuvenate you skin, mind, and body with our one hour of half hour customized facial. Each facial uses PCA- Physicians Choice of Arizona™ products tailored to your particular skin type.

Medical Microdermabrasion- Microdermabrasion is a no downtime noninvasive exfoliation of the skin's superficial layer (epidermis). Micro's are great for all skin types. They help to improve fine lines, wrinkles, texture, pore size, sun damage, and much more. Patients report their skin feels softer and smoother and has a healthy glow.

PCA- Physicians Choice of Arizona™ Peels and Skin Care- After extensive research, we have selected the PCA skin care system. PCA features a wide variety of products to allow customized treatment of most any skin type at a reasonable price. PCA professional peels are great to improve wrinkles, pore size, texture, hyperpigmentation, acne, or dull appearing skin. Peels go are more aggressive and go deeper than microdermabrasion. The light to medium depth peels use a variety of agents to loose and shed the epidermis to reveal healthy radiant new skin.

Jane Iredale Mineral Makeup– High quality mineral make up is the best product for skin health. Jane Iredale Mineral Makeup has an SPF of 18 and is full of vitamins and antioxidants to nourish and protect your skin.

BOTOX® Cosmetic

Botox® - Botox, or Botulinum Toxin A, is injected into facial muscles to temporarily paralyze their function. The paralyzed muscles ease existing facial lines and help minimize the formation of new ones. The most frequently targeted areas are the glabella (vertical furrows on the forehead between the eyes) and crows feet (fine lines around the corners of the eyes). Botox has an excellent safety profile and effects may last up to 4 months. Botox treatments start around $300 and depend on the area treated.

Fillers

Fillers - facial volume loss contributes to an aged appearance. Volume replacement with a filler product may make a significant difference. Volume is most commonly placed into the lips and nasolabial fold (deep furrows above and between the nose and mouth). Juvéderm™ is used for deeper and Cosmoplast™ for more superficial filling. Fillers usually last up to six months and are placed under local anesthetic. Filler treatments start around $500 and depend on the product and area treated. Ask about our potentially permanent surgical alternative, fat grafting.

Laser Aesthetic Services

After extensive research and testing, Dr. Wigod is pleased to provide Laser Aesthetic Services. Syneron™, powered by elōs™, combines light and radiofrequency energy to treat your aesthetic needs as gently, safely, and effectively as possible. ReFirme ST ™ - Infrared light and radiofrequency energy heats dermal collagen (deep skin layer) to tighten the skin without damaging the epidermis (superficial skin layer). ReFirme ST treatments can firm your skin with little discomfort and downtime. The face and other body areas may be treated.

Foto Facial ™ evens skin tone by targeting red and brown pigment with Bi-Polar Radio Frequency and Light energies of elōs™. FotoFacial treatments can reduce sun damage and small blood vessels on the face, as well as other body parts, to rejuvenate your skin's appearance.

Laser Hair Reduction - True laser light and radiofrequency energy heats and destroys hair follicles to permanently reduce unwanted hair. The 810 Diode Laser optimally treats all hair and skin types while added radiofrequency provides safety and minimizes discomfort.
