Case of the Month - February - Fat Grafting
A woman in her fifties presented three years ago concerned with facial aging, but desired to minimize costs and avoid a more aggressive surgery. She had fat grafting to her central face (below eyes, nasolabial folds, marionette lines, lips, and jaw anterior to her jowls) and upper lid blepharoplasty. Three years later, she presented for an abdominal operation and had concurrent central face fat grafting for a second time. Note the fat volume preservation over three years (not seen with synthetic fillers) and the additive effect of the secondary procedure.
